GENERAL INFORMATION

 

NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY – We will be observing Veteran’s Day.  Tuesday will be an “ODD” schedule day.

 

APPLICATIONS for you or your group to perform in the All School Diversity Assembly are available from the round rack in the ASB office.  Completed applications are due to Crystal in ASB on Monday, December 2nd.  Show off your culture – apply to perform.                J. Laird

 

CHEVY’S FAMILY NIGHT OUT – Come to Chevy’s Restaurant, near Valley Fair and Santana Row tonight and support the MV Dance Team.  Present a flyer, available in ASB, before you order and the Dance Team will receive 20% of the profit.

 

FOOTBALL GAME has been changed to Friday at Foothill College at 5:15 & 7:30 against Los Altos.

 

HIP HOP CLUB – Practice on Friday.  Last and finals dues to performance.

MULTICULTURAL PERFORMING – Are you interested in performing in a multicultural event or do you want to represent your culture?  If so, then contact Kenny Lin, by putting your name and 3rd period room # on a piece of paper in his cubby in ASB.

 

PEER COUNSELING HUGS PROGRAM – Have you ever wanted to cheer up someone any time of the year?  Peer Counseling HUGS cards are the solution.  Just pick up a HUGS card in the ASB office, write down your words of encouragement and turn it into the HUGS box in ASB.  It’s free and three HUGS candies will be delivered too.

 

ATTENTION SENIORS – Class shirts and sweatshirts are in.  Come pick them up in ASB during 5th period or at lunch.  All Gold Card holders and orders are ready to be picked up.

A FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT who is attending Monta Vista urgently needs a host family.  He is from South America and is a senior, fluent Spanish speaker. He is being hosted a temporary housing situation and would like a permanent placement for the rest of the school year.  He is sponsored by Cultural Homestay International.  If you and your family are interested in helping out and hosting this student, please e-mail or see Mama Laird as soon as possible.
