Who is Ms. Graham?

Ms. Graham and Teaching
I have been teaching at MV since 1997. I have taught Dance, Health, Aerobics, Volleyball, Self-Defense, Pickleball, Tennis, Soccer, Work Exp, and ELD 1A. From 2006-2008 I was one of the athletic directors on campus. Currently I teach dance master classes in Jazz throughout California and Judge numerous dance/drill competitions throughout the western united states.

Extra-curricular on Campus
From 1998-2002, I coached the Spirit Squads- and in 1999 and 2002 we took home 5th place at Nationals. From 1997-2006 I coached the Dance Team (Marquesas). The team has taken home 6 state titles and 3 national titles in the past 9 years. I have also been the advisor the class of 2002 and 2008!

Proudest accomplishment:
I am extremely proud of the dance program here at MV. Dance was a huge part of my life growing up and when I came onto this campus in 1997, dance classes were no longer offered and the dance team was less then 10 people. With support from the community, teachers, and incredibly hard work from students, the program grew to five sections (200 kids) and 22 dance team members in 2002. The popularity of the showcases has helped fuel the interest in the program.
