Parents and Athletes,

This message is intended for any athlete, and their parent(s), who intend to play sports for Monta Vista this year and beyond. I will try to be brief and include the most important information here.

***Number 2 and 3 on the list below must be completed to be eligible to participate in any sport.

1. 2016-17 Athletic Start Dates: Fall = August 5th; Winter = October 31st; Spring = January 30th

2. All physical forms must be completed by a parent and Doctor prior to the start date of your sport. Please locate physical form A and B on the MVHS website, under your specific sport tab.

3. Digital registration has moved from 8to18 to Registration for all seasons is currently open. Parents and their athletes will need to visit the site, create an account, and register for each sport they plan to play. Here is a cheat sheet to get you going.

4. We are launching a new athletics website, found at :
As we get closer to the school year, expect this site to be filled with content and photos and updated regularly. Also, please follow our twitter account (you can find the link on the new website) for updates, scores and news.

We are asking our fall athletes to come to MV (outside the training room) on August 4th to drop off physical forms, receive a baseline concussion test, and get cleared by our trainer. Here is the schedule:
Cross Country - 9AM
Football - 10AM
Field Hockey -11AM
Boys and Girls Water Polo- 12:30 PM Golf
Tennis and Volleyball -1:30 PM

Please try and attend. In the event that you cannot make it, your coach will follow up with you and get a make up test and will collect your forms directly. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns moving forward.

Thank you,
Nick Bonacorsi
