MODE

The [ MODE ] allows you to change certain settings of the calculator. Below is a list of the different settings that can be changed

Graph

The graph option has the following settings:
1. FUNCTION
2. PARAMETRIC
3. POLAR
4. SEQUENCE
5. 3D
6. DIFF EQUATIONS

FUNCTION – allows you to graph a linear function
PARAMETRIC - allows you to graph a parametric function
POLAR – allows you to graph a polar function
SEQUENCE – graphs a sequence
3D – allows you to graph a 3D function
DIFF EQUATIONS – allows you to graph the slope field of a differential equation

Current Folder
Folder used to store and recall variables

Display Digits
FLOAT sets the maximum number of digits
FIX sets the fixed number of decimal places

Angle
Sets the angle measures to either RADIAN or DEGREE

Exponential Format
Sets the way results are displayed. Can be set
To NORMAL, SCIENTIFIC, or ENGINEERING

Complex Format
Format used to display complex results, if any. REAL, RECTANGULAR, POLAR

Vector Format
Format used to display 2 and 3 element vectors. RECTANGULAR, CYLINDRICAL, SPHERICAL

Pretty Print
Turns pretty print display feature ON or OFF

Split Screen
Splits the screen into two parts. FULL (no split screen), TOP-BOTTOM, or LEFT-RIGHT

Split 1 App
Application in the top or left side of a split screen

Split 2 App
Application in the bottom or right side of a split screen

Number of graphs
For a split screen, lets you set up both sides of the screen to display independent sets of graphs

Exact/Approx
Calculates expressions and displays results in numeric form or in rational/symbolic form.
AUTO – combination of EXACT and APPROXIMATE
EXACT – displays results in symbolic form
APPROXIMATE – displays approximation (floating point) of the result

Base
Choose base for numbers
Decimal (DEC), hexadecimal (HEX), or binary (BIN)

Unit System
Lets you enter a unit for values in an expression such as 4_m + 2_m, convert values from one unit to another within the same category

Language
Lets you set the language of the calculator
